On July 20, 2018, Life Care Center of Acton, Massachusetts, hosted a luncheon for residents and community members and town officials, with State Senator Jamie Eldridge.
Eldridge spoke with guests at each table individually and gave a presentation to all of the attendees discussing topics relating to seniors, including the availability of senior housing in Acton, as well as how more funding had been approved for local senior centers for additional programs.
Guests had the chance to ask questions in an open forum format.
“Everyone had a great time meeting and speaking with Senator Eldridge,” said David Coughlin, director of business development. “It was a beautiful day, and everyone enjoyed spending time out on our patio. We had an Acton Beacon newspaper reporter, along with the Acton television station here filming.”
This was the first time in several years that Eldridge had been to the facility.
“It was nice to have him see what our five-star facility team does every day for our patients and residents,” Coughlin added.
“The lunch event with State Senator Jamie Eldridge was a huge success,” said community member Helen Vincent. “There were a lot of individuals from the Acton community, along with residents and business professionals from many of the districts that Senator Eldridge resides over.”
